The elders of this congregation have put out the challenge for all members to look for ways to improve their relationship with God throughout the upcoming year. Part of this challenge includes allowing oneself to be transformed into the light that Jesus calls us to be. It is my hope that the teens and young people of this congregation will rise to meet this challenge and become examples of Jesus to everyone they come into contact with.

One way I hope to accomplish this is through our Sunday morning bible class. We will be exploring and answer the question, “what does it mean to be a Christian.” We will look at stories throughout the bible that show us why we would want to be a Christian and what it means to live like a Christian.

The teens of this MLT will participate in many different activities throughout the year. Included are monthly area wide devotionals, the “got faith?” youth rally in April, teen camp this summer, the “Faith Quest” youth rally in September, and the “Cider Press” youth rally in October.
